Jason Ross, an attorney with Higgs Fletcher and Mack will present this Roundtable on how to handle medical leaves. Managing medical leaves, especially in California, can leave anyone feeling lost. This roundtable will provide an overview of the myriad of leaves of absences applicable to California employers. Employers will learn what leave time must be provided to employees, eligibility standards for each leave, documentation of absence and reinstatement requirements, what they can and cannot ask and when it is okay to terminate.
